being able to move over the whole map is a good improvement, but the wind effect was much better before. now the ship behaves like it's got an engine equipped. takes away the sailing feel, thats a pity! |

Wow, I love this game, but I´d like to make some suggestions:
as reaching the first 4-5 levels quite easily by plundering without shooting, you should change the relation between pirates and crews (1:1 from the start and increase slightly to the actual relation up to the 12th level...)
This would cause more tactical shooting right from the beginning.
Include an open reef (or island) to hide for limited time (otherwise the pirateship is stranded and lost...) or a sandbank, where you can maneuvre the enemy-ships onto for shootout.
Looking at the ranking-list, I really have no idea, how people manage this high-scores, as I´ve serveral times reached all levels with 400-420.000 points with no perspectives for a much higher score...
anyway - A GREAT GAME AND TIME-KILLER!

I love this game, but when I play it I feel like it has so much more potential. With a few more upgrades, this game could be epic.
Suggestions (hope this gets through to somebody high up):
-actual ship upgrades
-weapon upgrades for the pirates
-different ship weapons (ram, giant crossbows, select between grape shot or cannonballs)
-chance shots hit the enemy's rigging, disabling them
-ability to freeze your ship for 10 seconds to have your pirates repair it.
-land targets, and actual different, huge battlefields
-other pirate ships to assist, your own fleet by the last level. perhaps AI, or maybe you can point and click control all of them yourself.
If another version is ever made with most of the above suggestions, it's sure to do extremely well.

For some reason I wasn't able to move at all, so I kept getting killed in the second level. The only buttons that did anything at all was the ctrl, P, and V keys. |
